Most of DREAM's publications are available in electronic form and can be downloaded from here. The available documents are arranged by subject and can be navigated through the menu to the left. Some of the documents are of a more technical nature and serve as documentation of DREAM's theoretical foundation.
To give an impression of what kind of publications that are available we use following description, that is shown together with the documents:
Reports present the results of simulations made with DREAM. Sometimes documents, that are presented as reports, will contain DREAM's contribution to a bigger report. If this is the case, it will noted in the discription of the document.
Articles are papers that have been published in scientific journals or [Articlesamlinger], and therefore have been subject to an external editing process, that ensures the scientific quality of the work. Unfortunately not all articles are available in electronic form, due to copyright issues.
Documentation is documents that relatively detailed discribe assumptions or explain the models data foundation (including population projections). Other papers, that are catagorised under Documentation, explain the theoretical economic foundation of the models implementation. Documents in this group often require a theoretical economic background and sometimes also pratical experience with DREAM.
Notes and Lectures are either used in relation to teaching og shorter discussions, that are relevant to the work with DREAM. Sometimes this can be slideshows, that have been used for lectures or oral presentations of model results.
Workpapers are documents, that often should be considered as drafts of scientific articles, that haven't yet been subject to external editing. In DREAM we use workpapers to present theoretical considerations and solutions to our colleagues and other interested. The series Economic Modelling Working Paper Series was originally developed in cooperation with ADAM.
The documents that can be downloaded from www.dreammodel.dk are available in pdf-format (Portable Document Format). To be able to view the documents you therefor need to install a program that can read pdf-files. There exists several free programs, but the most widely used is probably Acrobat Reader, that can be downloaded from Adobe.
